I had a cat that would turn on the faucet in the bathroom and loaf in the sink until it overflowed. Couldn’t work out what was happening until the time I got home while it was still in the sink.
@brennyn I had a cat hang out in the bathroom sink. I once turned on the water to see what he would do. He just sat there until the sink was full and then finally jumped down and did the wet cat dance. Didn’t stop him from continuing to hang out there. Of course this kitty also allowed me to vaccuum him (although he’d bury hi face in my elbow).
I just lost my deaf and blind dog at 15 – amazing how quickly dogs adjust compared to humans. I hung a bell from the doorknob and she rings it with her nose to go out even though she can’t hear it.
When she took the stairs, she’d scan back & forth with her snout like she’s scanning for lost jewelry on a sandy beach, to make sure her path was unobstructed.
She even started following my other senior dog around everywhere that she used to hate (she could smell him so she condescended to using him as her seeing eye dog!).
Tries to get a snack out of the trunk.
They go on murder sprees. I wish I was joking but I’m not.
@kjady Woo-hoo! for furry pest control?
They are 10 and 16 years old
They definitely sleep
@ironcheftoni remember a quote that said
Most cats need about 24 hours of sleep a day.
Some cats need more.
Continues to not exist. I think.
@awk But how can you be sure?
Hosts sexy parties
He’s a cat, so …

@Kyeh Bicycle cat crashes in his dreams.
@yakkoTDI
That IS what it looks like!
@Kyeh @yakkoTDI would have won le Tour de Sofa except for that crash… Caused by a dog running onto the course.
Takes possession of stuff.

It’s mine now.
Trues to blow her nose, the paper sticks to said nose, and gets strown all over. Well, that’s what she told me.

Don’t have any pets at this time.
Very dramatic howling sessions & run-of-the-mill barking, presumably punctuated by periods of sleep.
@ircon96 but no sleep for the neighbors, apparently.
@pmarin I don’t sleep, why should they?
They do cat things for cat reasons.
My pet is a ROCK
so I guess he stays STONED all day long!!

@brennyn @Kidsandliz He must have been your cleanest cat!
My dog is working on her doctorate in merging market economics. Her birthday was yesterday so she also ate whipped cream off the floor.
sits by the window and… watches…
@bayportbob Someone has to keep the neighborhood safe
@bayportbob @capnjb That’s how the kitty cats know when their humans have returned.

@bayportbob @capnjb @PhysAssist @yakkoTDI Gesundheit!
@bayportbob @blaineg @capnjb @yakkoTDI I don’t know what happened to my image…
The cats do cat things, i.e. sleep. The dogs do dog things, i.e. destroy the house, try to kill each other, and sleep.
Princess doesn’t do anything different when we are away vs home-she is a clump.
Definitely sleeps. Our dog is deaf (and ~11 years old) so we regularly come home to find him snoring away.
@macromeh May you have many happy years ahead!

@hammi99 The Pompatus of Love?
/showme cat logic, abstract, in style of Picasso
@mediocrebot That is actually pretty damn good, bot!
It even captures a bewildered dog peeking in at the bottom of frame. Of course because dogs can’t appreciate modern art.
@pmarin Except the eyes are next to each other.

Tropical fish here. I’m pretty sure they’re involved in some shady underwater land deals.
@blaineg You sure they aren’t hiding gold coins they found on sunken ships?
@Kidsandliz Good point, time to clean the gravel.
I know what @charliedoggo does, because I have cameras. But most of the time he goes with me
